Creative midfielder
A key target has to be

Danny Murphy
Class at charlton goes to spurs and gets no look in at first team football
Its only gonna take a couple million to get hold off him
Whos with me?

Expect a midfield pairing of Muamba and Boateng. A creative midfielder is a must in my opnion but it's Bruces achilles heel and i for one can't see him changing.

Which is why I think he has done enough for us and should step down before being sacked. Muamba wont be here next season and I dont want boateng

I agree, Murphy would be a good buy. I'm not sure he'd join us with his inflated ego. Creative midfielders are rare, but we need one desperately.

Koumas would be a good shout with Muamba. Then Jerome might go back to his old self when he worked with Koumas at Cardiff

I'd rather have Koumas than Murphy. Murphy is ok but the Spurs fans I know who get to see him for the full game he plays, not just the highlights on MoTD, don't actually rate him that well.

From what I've seen of Zhi Zheng and Jerome Thomas this season, I would'nt mind adding either of those two to our squad.

Koumas > murphy, murphy's lost it at spurs. Too much pressure would be on him as well and i don't think he'd perform.

No thanks to Jerome
I would actually take Koumas first
But when WBA get promoted we wont be able to get him

what we need and what Bruce will go for are two different things.

Hes' always liked the combative central midfielders, thats why the Boatang story holds some weight.

If we had Koumas do you actually believe he'll play in central midfield?

Yes I do
And if not Bruce would be gone sooner rather than later
Then we will have a manager who likes to play forward thinking football

Rob Earnshaw anyone? Scores freely wherever he goes and shouldn't cost a fortune either. Scored 20 this season and been out injured for about a third of it.

I honestly believe kilkenny would be worth a shout if played in a midfield 3, Danny Murphy is a good player, but he's been there done that, id be after someone younger personally........Ivan Campo??

you say younger than Danny Murphy, yet Ivan Campo is older. Murphys 29, and Campo is 32

Agree with Murphy - exactly the sort of player we need.

it didnt take long for someone to re ignite the kilkenny myth. Seriously anyone would think we have the next gazza in our reserves the way some people rate him.

What about Milner from Newcastle for left midfield and then push McSheffrey up front?

We need to either :

- play 5 in midfield, so the "creative" player actually gets a chance to create something

or

- get a "box to box" midfielder who can do the hard work & still get into the box to support the forwards... (as Cabbage used to do)... e.g. Joey Barton

Bruce has got to change his thinking , we can't afford to be negative , in this league every player must be able to go forward with pupose and I don't see too many of that caliber in our current squad.
